Separate privacy from secrecy pressure
Private storage can be practical, calm, and ordinary. Decide who may access products, packaging, chargers, receipts, account pages, delivery notices, and browser history. Use a clean pouch or case that protects the product and fits your living situation.
Keep products away from children, pets, shared drawers, excess heat, sunlight, moisture, and places where controls can be pressed accidentally. Remove batteries for long-term storage when the instructions recommend it.
Pack for cleaning and power
Travel checklist: clean and dry before packing; use individual pouches; protect charging ports; pack compatible lubricant within travel rules; keep instructions or model names available; prevent accidental activation; separate used products until they can be cleaned.
Consider whether a product's shape, sound, app connection, charger, or battery creates privacy or inspection issues. Do not pack products containing prohibited batteries or liquids in ways that violate carrier or security rules.
Manage digital traces
Review saved passwords, account access, notification previews, order emails, package tracking, app permissions, Bluetooth names, and shared-device browsing. Private-browsing modes have limits and do not hide activity from every account, employer, network, or service provider.
Never send passwords, ID documents, medical records, or payment details in ordinary support email. Ask product questions using measurements, materials, and intended use instead of private identity details unless you choose otherwise.
